Ananas started from a small collection of abaca (natural fiber) handbags inspired by traditional textile techniques and materials from the Philippines.

Designer Jennifer Baum Lagdameo has since developed her line into a retro-chic collection of both leather and abaca. Organic materials from the Philippines like coconut shells, mother-off-pearl shells and polished native woods show off the brand’s natural roots.

All Ananas handbags are handmade in New York City.
